Welcome to Smart OCR ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("Application").

2. Information Collection and Use
- Camera and Photo Library Access: The Application requires access to your device's camera and photo library to capture and pick images for text recognition (OCR). The images are processed only to extract text.
- Text Processing (OCR & Translation):
  * Local Processing: Basic English/Latin OCR is processed entirely locally on your device.
  * Online Processing: Arabic/bilingual text recognition is processed via a third-party API (OCR.space). Translation services are processed online. No personal data or extracted texts are permanently stored on our servers.
- Local Storage: Scanned history and results are saved locally on your device in a secure database and can be deleted by you at any time.

3. Data Security
We implement standard technical measures to secure your data. Since all your scan history is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of your data.

4. Third-Party Services
The Application may utilize third-party APIs for translation and Arabic OCR. These services process the data temporarily to fulfill requests and do not store or collect personal identifying information.

2. جمع المعلومات واستخدامها
- الوصول إلى الكاميرا ومعرض الصور: يتطلب التطبيق الوصول إلى كاميرا جهازك ومعرض الصور لالتقاط واختيار الصور لغرض التعرف الضوئي على الحروف (OCR). يتم معالجة الصور فقط لاستخراج النصوص منها.
- معالجة النصوص (الاستخراج والترجمة):
  * معالجة محلية: يتم استخراج النصوص اللاتينية/الإنجليزية محلياً بالكامل على جهازك (أوفلاين).
  * معالجة عبر الإنترنت: يتم استخراج النصوص العربية/الثنائية اللغة عبر واجهة برمجة تطبيقات خارجية (OCR.space). كما تتم خدمات الترجمة عبر الإنترنت. لا يتم حفظ أي بيانات شخصية أو نصوص مستخرجة بشكل دائم على خوادمنا.
- التخزين المحلي: يتم حفظ سجل المسح والنتائج محلياً على جهازك في قاعدة بيانات آمنة، ويمكنك حذفها في أي وقت.

3. أمن البيانات
نحن نطبق معايير تقنية لحماية بياناتك. بما أن جميع سجلات المسح الخاصة بك تُخزن محلياً على جهازك، فإنك تملك السيطرة الكاملة على بياناتك.

4. خدمات الطرف الثالث
قد يستخدم التطبيق خدمات طرف ثالث للترجمة واستخراج النصوص العربية. تعالج هذه الخدمات البيانات مؤقتاً لتلبية الطلبات ولا تقوم بجمع أو تخزين معلومات تحديد الهوية الشخصية.
